You: Here is where we run into a problem. You agree with me that God's form of justice would lead not to hope but to certainty, and yet we see no sign of such certainty. Even the truly devout express their worries about the world situation and their hopes that rights will be wronged. I see no certainty in their words.

Aaron: The truly religious believe that things will work out in the end. They only pray for God to carry out that justice sooner or to give them things that will help to stamp out injustice in the first place.

You: There is no way for me to know that this is really how religious people feel, and I am not prepared to debate the innermost thoughts prayerful persons. I suggest that you try another argument since we have reached an impasse with this one.
