You: Could not faith be based on desire just as easily as morality could? If a person wants something badly enough, couldn't that want create the same warm feeling of certainty that you have described.

Aaron: True faith is not subject to such problems. Once you have experienced it, you know that it is more than any false faith that you may have had.

You: Again, how can we tell what true faith is? How do you know that this feeling of faith that you have will not pale in comparison to some even truer faith that you have not yet experienced?

Aaron: If you understand faith, you will see that your questions are meaningless. For that matter, faith can show you the truth of God's existence more easily than any trick of logic or pseudoscientific proof.
