You: What if this feeling that you have described so eloquently is just a creation of the mind and nothing more? Just as some claim to feel pain from an amputated limb, one could imagine the feeling of God's existence.
Aaron: This is true, but instances of imagined pain do not prove that nobody has real pain, only that some imagine it. I will agree with you in theory that one could work one's self into a furor and imagine the feeling of the Holy Spirit, but the experience would be nothing like a true revelation.
