You: I really can't imagine that there is anything you could tell me to change my mind.

Aaron: That truly saddens me, to see a mind so obviously bright so obviously closed. Are you sure that there is no way for me to change your mind?

You: None at all.

Aaron is obviously dejected. He seemed like a nice enough sort, and you really wouldn't have minded talking to him, but the day is far too nice a one to mar with pointless philosophy.

You punctuate your resolve by closing the door.

Back on the couch, your feet up and your mind at ease, you can't help but wonder what Aaron would have said. Could he really have proven God's existence to you? You do not believe so, but will always wonder just how well you know your own beliefs.

When you finally become lost again in your book, the strange man at the door and his perfectly straight teeth quickly become no more than a distant memory.

The End
