You: Couldn't God have thought of a better plan for the world? One with peace and harmony between all living things? I find it hard to believe that, if a God wanted to create a truly wonderful world for us, he could not find a way to do it without tapeworms, nuclear weapons and meningitis.

Before you can prove to me that God exists because the world is wonderful, you are going to have to convince me that the world really is wonderful, and so far I cannot see a good argument for it.

Aaron: God, in his infinite wisdom, has chosen the best of all possible plans for us. We should not try to understand why he has made certain choices or allowed certain things to exist, we must simply accept and enjoy the world the way it is. God is far wiser than we and we cannot question his methods.
