Aaron: Now listen carefully and see if you can follow this rather simple argument: Everything either is or is not. If this is the case, then it is possible that any given thing might not be. If that is true, then — somewhere in the eternity before our present time — there must have been a time when nothing was. This is obviously impossible, so there must be something that could not possibly not exist. That something is God.

How do you respond?

  1. There are some things that cannot not be. Go
  2. There could never be nothing. Go
  3. There could be nothing. Go
  4. That "something" need not be God. Go
  5. Then might not God not be? Go
