You: You can't know that. If we were in a different country, we could be making the same arguments, and you would still be just as full of faith in your correctness, but we would be "wrong" according to Christians in America. How would our imaginary selves discover that they are wrong and we are right?
Aaron: God would reveal the truth to them.
You: But he hasn't, that is exactly the point. If God can reveal the truth when he wishes to, then what's he waiting for?
Aaron: God has already revealed the truth. It is in the Bible.
You: And others would say it is in the Koran or the teachings of Buddha. There is no way for me to tell the difference.
Aaron: You seemed to be obsessed with the metaphysics of knowledge. Perhaps a different argument would appeal to that obsession.
