You: I don't call the slaughter of innocent children and animals justice, I call it evil.

Aaron: It says in the Bible that God holds children accountable for the sins of their fathers, so in the story of Sodom there were no innocent children killed.

You: Holding a child responsible for its parents' actions sounds immoral to me also. How can I believe that God is good if actions that he condones are so repulsive to me?

Aaron: God's justice only appears to be immoral because you see the situation as a limited, fallible human. If you could know the world through God's eyes, then you would see how just he truly is.

How do you respond?

  1. What if I could see the world through Jack the Ripper's eyes? Go
  2. Then how can I make moral decisions? Go
  3. I thought the point was that we could all see goodness through God. Go
