You: If I could see the world through Jack the Ripper's eyes, I might be able to understand his viewpoint better. Perhaps, if I thought like him, I would even believe prostitutes were so evil that their murder was justifiable. But from my current perspective, an act is immoral or not immoral regardless of how a person justifies it to himself, and the actions of an insane man are just as evil as those of a sane one. The fact that I too might take those actions if I were as insane does not mean that the actions are justifiable
